Day 2: Exploring Istanbul’s Historical Highlights (Breakfast) After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide in the lobby for a full day exploring Istanbul’s most iconic sites. Your journey starts with a visit to Hagia Sophia, a marvel of Byzantine architecture. Next, discover the Blue Mosque, renowned for its stunning blue tiles and six towering minarets. Wander through the historic Topkapi Palace, the opulent residence of Ottoman sultans for centuries. Upon arrival, you’ll head to Goreme to begin your North Cappadocia tour. Your first stop is Goreme Panorama, offering breathtaking views of the fairy chimneys. Next, visit the Goreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its remarkable rock-cut churches and monasteries. Explore Pasabag Valley, also known as Monks Valley, famous for its striking rock formations. Discover the unique landscapes of Devrent Valley and visit the town of Avanos, renowned for its pottery.
